The Jornata Board of Advisors is a carefully selected team of
industry veterans with experience in recruitment, strategic
marketing, professional services, technology, venture capital, and
executive management.

Bruce Allen |
With over 20 years of sales and sales
management experience, Bruce has specialized in growing technology
sales, marketing, and support organizations. Several of Bruce’s
sales methodologies have been published in the Telephone Selling and
Prospecting Report, a long time leading business sales newsletter.
As Founder of Point B Search, a Boston area boutique recruitment
firm, Bruce taps into his years of hiring and managing professionals
to help his early stage and high growth clients build their teams
with top tier talent.
At RSA Security, Bruce grew the Corporate Sales team for the
Americas, taking on greater revenue responsibility while increasing
the team’s sales aptitude. At Hello Direct, he built and led a new
sales staff of 50, getting the team fully functional and exceeding
their revenue and margin objectives within 5 months. At Teamstudio,
where Bruce was Vice President, Americas, he grew revenue 50% within
1 year by shortening the sales cycle, raising the ASP, increasing
the close ratio, bolstering customer renewal rates, and completely
revamping the company’s messaging.
Prior to Teamstudio, Bruce held sales and sales management positions
at Polaroid, iMarket, Legent Corporation, and Computer Associates.
Bruce holds a Bachelor’s degree in Music from Berklee College of
Music. |

Robert Mawrey |
Dr. Mawrey is
the former Senior Vice President of Information Technology and Chief
Information Officer at American Tower Corporation where he built and
improved the information systems organization over a period of nine
years. While at American Tower he directed the selection and
implementation of a $20 million software system from Oracle in a
record time of eight months and the development of custom software
using a combination of Microsoft technology including SharePoint and
InfoPath. He also led the integration of information technology
during the merger of a large competitor and his organization was
recognized by the company as the highest performing team.
Prior to
American Tower Dr. Mawrey was Vice President of Systems and
Technology at UNIsite Inc. where he led a team of information
technology and engineering professionals who developed business and
patented engineering software unique to the new tower industry.
Early in his
career Dr. Mawrey worked for Meteor Communications corporation where
he designed, tested, and implemented wireless data and voice
communications systems using industry leading algorithms and
software tools developed in South Africa.
Dr. Mawrey was
born in Durban, South Africa and immigrated to the United States in
1991. He completed his Ph.D. in Electronic Engineering at the
University of Natal, Durban where he was also a research engineer
and lecturer. As a student and engineer, Dr. Mawrey published 14
papers in peer review journals. |

Mari Anne Snow |
An innovative and
highly energetic business problem solver, Mari Anne Snow has spent
her career successfully helping organizations navigate major
change. As a veteran of multiple industries - financial services,
education, retail and hospitality, she has worked with small to
large companies to cost-effectively implement non-disruptive
change. A self-professed social media and collaboration technology
fan, she advocates for the use of the most up-to-date tools to
accelerate change adoption. As CEO and co-founder of SophiaThink
Consulting, she applies her considerable business knowledge with her
organizational development (OD) expertise to help organizations
integrate social media and collaboration concepts into their change
strategy while using the new technical platforms to measure adoption
rates and engage employees.
During her tenure
in financial services with the State Street Corporation, she
launched a global employee learning university, established a global
collaboration platform (SharePoint) to support virtual project teams
and provided the global support team for an Oracle general ledger
implementation. Prior to her work at State Street, she created
successful, cost effective learning and development organizations
for several national restaurant chains and taught a graduate course
in Business Writing at the Harvard Extension School in Cambridge.
A life-long
sailor and enthusiastic cook, Mari Anne lives with her husband,
Charlie, in Providence, RI. She is currently an active cultural
mentor to several international students attending Brown University
and Boston College. In their spare time, Mari Anne and Charlie are
renovating their Contessa-35, Tough Old Bird, in preparation for
future sailing adventures. |

Liam Spaeth |
Liam leads a team of 75 technical
architects and support staff, located in Boston, MA; New York City,
NY; Chicago, IL: Reston, VA; Atlanta, GA; Dallas, TX; Irvine, CA;
and Mountain View, CA -- helping customers evaluate the application
of Microsoft and partner products and technologies to their
business.
Liam has been with Microsoft for sixteen years. Previously, he was
Practice Manager for the Microsoft Consulting Services New England
Practice.
During his 31 years in the high-tech industry, Liam has held
positions in research, engineering, sales support, and engineering
management with organizations including Digital, TRW, MITRE
Corporation, and McDonnell Douglas. He has extensive experience in
complex systems development, software engineering, and system
development life cycles. Liam holds a B.E.E. degree from the Georgia
Institute of Technology. |
